Lavender Lemonade

1 cup sugar 
6 cups water
1/4 cup dried lavender
1 cup of lemon juice (5 lemons)


    -Boil half the water.
    -Remove water from heat and add sugar and lavender, stir til dissolved.
    -Cover and let sit 30 minutes so the lavender can infuse.
    -Strain into large container.
    -Stir in lemon juice and remaining water.
    -Adjust to taste.
    -Refrigerate.
    -Pour over ice before serving.
